Bankruptcy filings in Hawaii drop for 7th straight month

by Administrator 2. November 2011 01:25

The bankruptcy filings in Hawaii have dropped for a seventh straight month and officials are hoping that this decline represents an improvement in the economy.

If this trend continues throughout the last two months of the year, officials have said that the state will see their first annual decline since 2006.

In the month of October, there were 260 bankruptcy filings, which is down nearly 13 percent from the same point last year. For the first 10 months of the year, there were a total of 2,873 filings in the state.

If you or a loved one has been considering bankruptcy, this can be a very stressful time for you and your family. This is why it is beneficial to have representation on your side that will do everything they can to make this time less complicated for you and your family.
