Florida continues to see decline in bankruptcy

Bankruptcy filings in the Middle District of Florida have continued to be filed at a lower rate than last year.

According to statistics, the pace at which bankruptcies are being filed between January to Ocotober is 17.4 percent lower than a year before.

Even though the rate at which the bankruptcies are being filed are lower than last year. This court is still ranked number 3 in the nation for the amount of bankruptcies filed. The total number of filings in the U.S. were at 1.47 million, which is down 8.1 million.
