by Administrator 21. February 2011 03:51

The high-end furniture company, Robb & Stucky, have filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy after accumulating debts up to $100 million.

The retailers have nineteen stores throughout the U.S., and stores in Arizona and Texas have been hit especially hard. The company has been struggling for years now in the face of the harsh economic downturn and have been forced to close several stores that have not been able to pay rent. In addition to filing chapter 11 bankruptcy, the company is currently seeking a buyer who will keep the business in operation and continue its same standards.
