Mesa Air Group Inc. filed for bankruptcy this week. In the Arizona carrier's bankruptcy filing, it cited that carrier leased more planes that it needed.
The bankruptcy filing also showed assets of about $975 and debts of about $869 million. The filing is meant to allow the company to restructure and "eliminate" some of its aircraft.
