WCI Emerges from Chapter 11

After spending a year in bankruptcy, WCI Communities has emerged from its Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company has managed to eliminate more than $2 billion in liabilities through its filing.

Through restructuring, the company has managed to recreate a strong portfolio and plans to continue operation in the housing market. WCI Communities will continue to operate in the Tampa Bay area.
