What information can be found in a bankruptcy case number?

by Administrator 4. March 2010 06:12

Bankruptcy case numbers contain different pieces of information about a bankruptcy case. While this information is generally useful for court purposes, it is necessary to keep track of it during a bankruptcy filing.

These pieces of information include the location where the case was filed, the filing year, and the initials of the judge assigned to the case. If there is an error in a bankruptcy case code, then the filer should report the discrepancy as soon as possible.

If you or anyone you know has considered filing for bankruptcy, contact the Arizona bankruptcy lawyers of the Harmon Law Office at 480-829-0494.
